Greetings one and all sorry for not updating as much as i should but now our beloved repeater is moved to the Ventnor radar site its booming signal for all to hear. thanks to Paul IKI for finding us a beautiful spot for GB3IW all reports welcome at this point from all users…
With our new home in place IWRS are having a competition open to all radio amateurs. you don’t have to be a member and the competition is open for 1 year from the 1st March 2019 to 1st April 2020. To take part and find out more information visit thier facebook page

*UPDATE* we have an aerial. The guys at Ventnor are chuffed to have radio back on the site again as well.

The OFFICIAL word on the repeater is in. The Ventnor site, with help from G8HUL is looking very much like it is now going to perform.
We are excited that this is now a positive step forward to getting IW back in the air.
We’ve deliberately not posted all the updates, as there is no point revving everyone up, only to have it quashed, and creating hysteria.

Tomorrow the new mast steel base work goes in. Watch this space, quite literally
NEWS – Paul has been to site over the Christmas break and measured up. New, steel brackets have been fabricated and we now just await the OFCOM permission. Photos showing where the new aerial will sit.
As all knew GB3IW is on the move to its. New. Location.. Our beloved repeater will be back online as soon as. The mast goes up in the new spot…
